Traveler (Hydro) Artifacts Desc
Traveler (Hydro) is a supportive character, so it’s very important to increase their Elemental Mastery. In this case, the best artifact set is the 4-piece Instructor set. This set boosts the Elemental Mastery of all party members after an Elemental Reaction occurs. However, for an on-field DPS (damage dealer), using 2 pieces of Nymph’s Dream and 2 pieces of Golden Troupe is better. This combination helps increase the damage from their Elemental Skill and Hydro DMG.
There are several other artifact options available, but they generally aren’t as effective as the top choices. For example, the 4-piece Noblesse Oblige set is ideal for boosting the attack abilities of all party members when an Elemental Burst is used, making it suitable for a supportive character who coordinates attacks. On the other hand, the 4-piece Tenacity of the Millelith set not only increases attack power but also enhances shield strength, providing added protection while improving overall damage output.
Traveler (Hydro) Weapons Desc
The best weapon option for Traveler (Hydro) is the 5-star sword Primordial Jade Cutter. This weapon increases HP percentage and provides a bonus to attack, making it an excellent choice. There are also other good weapon options, such as the 4-star Favonius Sword, which helps generate energy for the character. Another option is the Fleuve Cendre Ferryman, which boosts Elemental Skill CRIT Rate and improves energy recharge.

Traveler (Hydro)’s main ability is their Elemental Skill, so players should focus on using it. First, use the Elemental Skill to deal damage to enemies and gain energy. Afterward, use the Elemental Burst for Hydro damage. Then, switch to the main DPS or sub-DPS role. Once you switch back to Traveler (Hydro), use normal attacks and repeat this rotation.
Traveler (Hydro) Overview
Traveler (Hydro) is a 5-star character in Genshin Impact who uses sword-type weapons. Traveler (Hydro)’s normal attack, Foreign Stream, deals only a small amount of damage. However, their Elemental Skill, Aquacrest Saber, delivers quick Hydro damage to opponents who come into contact with it. Using the aiming mode makes these attacks more accurate. On the other hand, their Rising Waters ability is not as effective for boss battles.
