Lyney is a character with several good artifact options, but currently, the best choice is the 4-piece Marechaussee Hunter set, which provides a significant damage bonus. Another option is the 4-piece Lavawalker set, which offers Pyro resistance and increases damage against enemies affected by Pyro. Alternatively, you can use the 4-piece Wanderer’s Troupe set, which boosts Elemental Mastery and increases charged attack damage.

The best weapon for Lyney is the 5-star The First Great Magic, which provides a large boost to basic attack and crit damage, and also increases movement speed. His second-best weapon is the Aqua Simulacra, which offers a high crit damage boost and a slight increase to basic attack. It also increases HP and deals damage to nearby opponents. In the 4-star category, the Scion of the Blazing Sun is a great option, as it helps enhance charged attack damage.

Lyney Overview
In Genshin Impact, Lyney is a 5-star Pyro character who uses a bow. His charged attack, Perfect Aimed Shot, deals damage to enemies. If his HP is 60% or more, he can use 20% of his HP to gain a Prop Surplus stack. Another unique feature is that he can summon the Grin-Malkin Hat without needing to meet any conditions. This hat explodes and deals some damage to nearby enemies. His Elemental Skill, Bewildering Lights, causes the Grin-Malkin Hat to explode, dealing AoE Pyro damage to enemies and consuming Prop Surplus stacks. Each stack increases his HP by 20%.
His Elemental Burst, Wondrous Trick: Miracle Parade, transforms him into the Grin-Malkin Cat, allowing him to deal Pyro damage to nearby enemies all at once. His passive skill, Conclusive Ovation, provides several buffs that are effective against enemies.

Shoots a barrage of arrows while in mid-air, then strikes the ground, causing area-of-effect damage upon landing.

While aiming, flames appear on the arrowhead. The effects vary depending on the charge time:
Charge Level 1: Releases a Pyro-infused arrow, causing Pyro DMG.
Charge Level 2: Launches a Prop Arrow that deals Pyro DMG and summons a Grin-Malkin Hat on impact.
When firing the Prop Arrow and if HP is above 60%, a portion of HP is used to gain a Prop Surplus stack, with a maximum of 5 stacks. This effect disappears after 30 seconds out of combat. HP cannot drop below 60% using this method.
Grin-Malkin Hat
· Can taunt nearby opponents and attract their attacks. Each opponent can only be taunted by the Hat once every 5s.
· The Hat will inherit a percentage of Lyney’s Max HP.
· If destroyed, or if its duration expires, it will fire off a Pyrotechnic Strike at 1 nearby opponent, dealing Pyro DMG.
1 Hat can exist at any given time.
Arkhe: Pneuma
At certain intervals, the Prop Arrow will cause a Spiritbreath Thorn to descend upon its hit location, dealing Pneuma-aligned Pyro DMG.

Lyney performs a dramatic flourish with his hat, setting off a firework surprise!
When activated, this skill clears all existing Prop Surplus stacks and deals AoE Pyro DMG to enemies in front. The damage increases based on the number of stacks cleared and also regenerates HP based on his maximum HP.
If a Grin-Malkin Hat is on the field, the fireworks will make it explode, dealing AoE Pyro DMG equivalent to a Pyrotechnic Strike.
The damage from the Grin-Malkin Hat in this instance is counted as Charged Attack damage.

Wondrous Trick: Miracle Parade
Unleashing his magic, Lyney turns himself into a Grin-Malkin Cat that can move around quickly. (Not to be mistaken for the Grin-Malkin Hat. They’re two different props!)
When the Grin-Malkin Cat gets close to opponents, it will send flames falling down on them, dealing at most 1 instance of Pyro DMG to each opponent. When the duration ends, he will dismiss the Grin-Malkin Cat and ignite fireworks that deal AoE Pyro DMG, summon 1 Grin-Malkin Hat, and grant himself 1 Prop Surplus stack.
Grin-Malkin Cat can be actively canceled.

· Increases the DMG dealt by 60%.
· Each Pyro party member other than Lyney will cause the DMG dealt to increase by an additional 20%.
Lyney can deal up to 100% increased DMG to opponents affected by Pyro in this way.
