For Ayato as a damage dealer, the best artifact sets are 4-piece Heart of Depth, 4-piece Echoes of an Offering, and 4-piece Gladiator’s Finale. You can choose any of these sets, but in our opinion, 4-piece Heart of Depth is the best choice.
If you don’t have any of these three sets, you can consider a few others. For example, 4-piece Thundering Fury gives a lot of reaction damage and reduces skill cooldowns. Another option is 4-piece Blizzard Strayer. You can also mix sets, like using 2-piece Heart of Depth and 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale, which will provide a Hydro damage bonus along with an attack percentage boost.
Ayato Weapons Desc
Ayato’s signature weapon is the Haran Geppaku Futsu, which is perfect for him. It increases his base attack and critical rate, and also provides an elemental damage bonus. As a second-best option, you can consider Mistsplitter Reforged, which offers high base attack, critical damage, and an elemental damage bonus.
If you don’t have either of these weapons, you can use the Primordial Jade Cutter. It increases base attack and critical rate, boosts HP, and provides an attack bonus. In the 4-star category, The Black Sword is a great option, as it also offers base attack and critical rate.

Kamisato Ayato is a 5-star Hydro character in Genshin Impact who uses a sword. He is a strong on-field hydro damage dealer. His Elemental Skill, Kamisato Art: Kyouka, allows him to perform fast Shunsuiken attacks that deal heavy damage to enemies and convert his normal attacks into area-of-effect (AoE) hydro damage.
His Elemental Burst, Kamisato Art: Suiyuu Bloomwater Blades, continuously attacks opponents in its AoE, dealing hydro damage and increasing his normal attack damage. Thanks to his passive talent, Kamisato Art: Michiyuku Hagetsu, he generates 2 energy every second.

Kamisato Art: Kyouka
Kamisato Ayato shifts positions and enters the Takimeguri Kanka state, leaving behind a watery illusion at his original location. This illusion will explode if opponents are nearby or when its duration ends, dealing AoE Hydro DMG.
Takimeguri Kanka
While in this state, Ayato uses Shunsuiken for extremely fast attacks, converting normal attack damage into AoE Hydro DMG. This effect cannot be overridden.
– After hitting an opponent with a Shunsuiken attack, Ayato gains the Namisen effect, which increases damage based on his maximum HP. He can stack up to 4 Namisen effects, gaining 1 stack every 0.1 seconds. This effect ends when Takimeguri Kanka finishes.
– His resistance to interruptions is increased.
– Charged and plunging attacks cannot be used.
Takimeguri Kanka ends when Ayato leaves the field. Using Kamisato Art: Kyouka again while in this state will reset and replace the current state.

Unveils a garden of purity that quiets the chaos around it.
While this space is active, Bloomwater Blades continuously rain down, striking opponents within the area and dealing Hydro DMG. Additionally, it boosts the normal attack damage of characters within the area.
